TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All reservations to be made as per terms and conditions outlined by our online booking service.
NB Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic we can only accept bookings made more than 24 hours in advance.
All rooms are available after 16.00 (4pm). Earlier arrivals are subject to availability, please check with us at least a few days before your arrival and we will try and accommodate you. If you plan to arrive later than 20.00 (8 pm) we would also appreciate it if you could let us know. Rooms should be vacated by 11am. Please be aware that late check out is only possible in accordance with management and charges might be incurred if there is an unauthorised late check out.
We reserve the right to charge for any items that have been inadvertently taken from the room, damages caused or through an oversight which resulted in a charge being excluded on your final bill.
We must comply with certain noise restrictions, and statutory regulations, and we require you to fulfil their obligations in this respect.
All information requested such as guest numbers, dietary requirements etc., must be accurately provided by you at least 10 days prior to arrival.
We reserve the right to object to the employment by you of any photographer, band, musician, entertainer and other person connected with your stay.
Cancellation
Cancellations to be made as per the terms and conditions outline by our online booking service.
Booking of three rooms or more
A 10% non-refundable deposit is due at point of booking and the remaining amount is payable 21 days prior to arrival.
Changes by you
Should you wish to make any changes you must notify us as soon as possible in writing and Craignamara reserves the right to object to any changes. With any changes made, costs cost will incur. Craignamara also reserves the right to levy charges at the customer’s negligence to inform Craignamara about any changes to the booking.
Special Requirements
Please inform the hotel of any special dietary needs or other requirements such as mobility issues you may have prior to arrival.
Special Requests
Whilst every effort will be made to fulfil any of your requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee this and a failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract. Also if we feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of persons concerned, we reserve the right to decline the reservation.
Children and additional beds
All rooms are designed for a maximum occupancy of either 2 persons. Our 2 family rooms are designed for a maximum or 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children). Craignamara recommend that only children aged 10 and over should sleep in the top bunk.
All children under the age of two years stay free of charge either when using existing beds or a baby cot is required. (Cots should be requested at time of booking and are subject to availability).
Third party services
If we assist in any services supplied by a third party (such as bike, boat hire or outdoor activities) we advise you to consult the company’s own terms and conditions after making a booking as we are not liable in case of breach of contract.
Comments
Any comments regarding your stay should be made in the first instance directly to Rod and Kerry Leitch at the time of your stay so that all reasonable efforts can be made to rectify the situation at the time of occurrence. In the unlikely event that you want to complain any verbal notification must be put in writing and handed in as soon as possible. No liability can be accepted if you fail to notify the problem according to this procedure.
Pets
We are unable to accommodate pets in Craignamara, except Guide Dogs.
Parking
There is free parking available at Craignamara, however we cannot accept liability for loss or damage to Guest vehicles.
Non-Smoking
Craignamara is non-smoking throughout its premises. All of our smoke detectors are extremely sensitive and are directly linked to the Fire Brigade. Any costs incurred due to false alarms will be payable by the offender.
If we are unable to re-let rooms due to smoking, the full amount will be charged to cover loss of revenue and we will levy a fine for additional cleaning.
General
A confirmed booking constitutes a legal agreement between the customer and Craignamara. Please note that these terms and conditions pre-date any previous information given.
